Chemical Research Letters, May 2021. In classical electrochemical theory, both the electron transfer rate and the adsorption of reactants at the electrode control the electrochemical reaction. In an article, author is Shantharam, C. S., once mentioned the application of 843666-40-0, Name is 18-(tert-Butoxy)-18-oxooctadecanoic acid, molecular formula is C22H42O4, molecular weight is 370.5665, MDL number is MFCD09991735, category is benzisoxazole. Now introduce a scientific discovery about this category, Quality Control of 18-(tert-Butoxy)-18-oxooctadecanoic acid.
Synthesis of a new series of urea/thiourea derivatives of Gly/Pro conjugated benzisoxazole has been reported. Structure of the compounds was characterized by physical and spectroscopical data and has been screened for their in vitro antiglycation activity. Several compounds showed promising activity with IC50 <5 mu M compared to standard rutin (IC50 = 41.9 mu M). Further, it was found that compounds containing methoxy and bromine substituents have exerted highly potent activity. Thus, the title compounds represent novel class of potent antiglycating agents.
