Several new PtII and PdII complexes bearing the enantiomerically pure (1R,2R)-(-)-1,2-cyclohexanediamine (dach) ligand, [MX2{(1R,2R)-dach}], where M = Pt or Pd, X2 = cis- or trans- or (1R,2R)-1,2-cyclohexyldicarboxylate anions, were synthesized and characterized physicochem. and spectroscopically.
